DirectAdmin Manually Generate SSL Certificates
Locate current certificate
/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin config | egrep "^ssl=|^cacert=|^cakey="
Generate certificate
Replace <domain>
with the FQDN that you are generating a SSL/TLS certificate for.
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/letsencrypt.sh request <domain> 2048
Check new certificate status
Check the DirectAdmin dashboard certificate:
openssl x509 -in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/cacert.pem -text -noout
To verify the certificate of a DirectAdmin user, execute the following command, substituting the <user>
and <domain>
options with your specific details:
openssl x509 -in /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/<user>/domains/<domain>.cert -text -noout
Build DirectAdmin with the new certificate
/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build rewrite_confs
